What you present is a projection of who you really are, for the most part. So yes at times it is, but that aspect doesn't come so naturally unless its somewhere inside of you. We all do it. I don't think any celebrity is the opposite of who they present themselves to be. DP is quiet and composed thats how she presents herself, PC has a sassy attitude, that is how she presents herself.

It is a projection of real personality, but at times yes we put on a show to impress, please. But then again people pleasing is also a personality trait right?

it is not that they are entirely fake but they play that card which is selling the most from their personality, like they exaggerate it.

like alia- dumb/blonde girl

parineeti- constant reminders that she is not conventionally pretty- I am sure she would have more depth but may be she uses this to get more acceptance

ranveer- I am sure there is more than just sex and energy in his life but these parts are always there to be seen coz that gets it talking

deepika and ranbir have often played the 'shy' card- they have called themselves that many times- may be a part in them is but they exaggerate it to a whole new level

sonam- stupid W*F statements; I feel she purposely comes up with that shit and exaggerates it coz it sells way more than her movies

Kangana- she is honest but she has started doing this brutally honest and saying something out-of-the-box way too much. Attimes I feel that even if she shares a popular opinion on something, she would change it and make it unusual just to get that honest and different tag

Deepika and PC personality from the first time they started out to now has def changed. If you watch PC first time she came on KWK..she was so simple, love able, and calm. I think over the years..she tries too hard to be bubbly and cool in her interviews to seem interesting but you can tell it's forced.

Deepika use to be outgoing and fun..but now she is so calm and watches what she says. Foe her though..I don't think she's being fake as PC. For Deepika...I think she wants to portray a sweet type so she can gain fans..if that makes any sense. She wants to please everyone. She's image conscious..I don't know if that makes her fake or not. Just careful I guess.

I think from the guys the one who comes across as most normal is Arjun Kapoor. He doesn't over do it like Ranveer. Ranbir is a puzzle..you can't really figure him out. He's like Deepika..very image conscious and watches what he says and tells you what you want to hear.

I dont know about anyone else but Ranveer is the most fake..Hiss energy/crazy monkey like antics,everything is fake...His huge nose screams fakeness...he is the most annoying thing that is ever happened to bollywood..or maybe second, after Abhishrek.

Most put on an act. If you watch BBB interviews, Ranveer was not sooo crazy but then he decided to go with this 'uninhibited' image so he goes all OTT all over the place. He started wearing weird clothes to stick out.

What you said about Leo reminded me of Shahid Kapoor and his PR's constant attempt to project him as a casanova.

I think they've given up now, it obviously was not working

Deepika clearly puts on an act. Ranveer does it too, but I feel that's just more an extension of his personality. Deepika I feel like I don't really know who she is because her off-screen image is so carefully crafted. She makes sure she maintains this image, even when she is in "off" mode

Who doesn't have as much of an act? Beyond a doubt, Sonam. There is no filter there 😆. Also Kareena, Anushka. As for the guys, maybe Siddharth Malhotra, Ranbir and Aamir? Actually now that I'm thinking about it, I think the guys put on more of an act than the girls (Varun, Arjun, Ranveer, SRK, Salman etc)
