Why is Guzaarish considered a bad film on IF?

I don't know abt IF, but it was surely one of THE most boring and sleep inducing movies i've ever watched. ( Tho Hrithik's acting was FAB) .Considering how depressing the subject was, it would be more suitable for a short film.

Coz aish was digging HR nose or something like that. Its just over the top. Bt very goos performance by all who acted in the movie bt the movie was just shit.

I liked it, but it did leave me sad for hours after i finished watching it... So maybe that's why most folks don't like it. 😆

because indian audience wasn't ready for its content and concept... euthanasia and all😆...it's still not ready... we go to movies for fun, these are art work.

Nobody else can make movie like SLB in his genre... when you watch a movie in hindi cinema, you can know whether SLB made it.. it's not of everyone's taste, but the director is supremely talented..no doubt...
Also, he has directed all biggies except Aamir, which proves his standing among industry celebrities. He is top on awards too...and he is the guy who makes movies not for money but to satisfy his vision

the film was bit boring, no doubt😆

More than the message, the movie was way tooo preachy. And no one likes being preached + HR was OTT ki dukaan in the movie. Even Aish was better than him...

I enjoyed watching it - but towards the end I felt it wasn't well made. Especially the end.

I think SLB changed his mind about how he wanted to end the film. If you listen to the title song, it strongly suggests a certain "ending" to the story, but I feel he chickened out. It would have had more of an impact that way.

1. Boring

2. There was nothing new they tried to offer in the film. The discussion regarding Euthenasia was same as we read in newspapers and books, the presentation was in a preachy way, the reactions of everyone was as expected, the reasoning was as expected, it was like they just copied one of the stories we read in the papers and made it into a script by adding some drama, which was uninteresting by the way and seemed to have been put in just to pass time, the subplots weren't used properly. There was no new dimension added to the whole issue, no new arguments, no original thought to present the issue or arguments in an interesting or gripping way. They used a lot of scenes to convey the pain of suffering patients and that was well done but other than that nothing else in the film left an impact.

3. Bad climax and lack of a high point.

4. Unintentionally hilarious at few places.

5. I didn't like HR's acting in this film.
