Why is Guzaarish considered a bad film on IF?

No idea. I see it in my Netflix playlist all the time but I skip right past it. It doesn't even make me want to watch it on a boring day. And this is coming from someone whose favorite films list includes a lot of slow films. So there must be something about it that is generally off putting? It just seems quite bland or maybe it's because you already know it was totally copied from that Javier Bardem flick. So there's no point in watching SLB's take on the issue.

the movie was almost a copy of the sea inside.

bhansali should have taken a different approach. instead of a quadriplegic seeking to end his life, bhansali should have shown how to live instead. imagine the challenge to live each day while dying inside. could have been equally heartbreaking.
