PK Grosses 607 Crores At The Box Office Worldwide

PK has been going strong at the box office and the film has now made a collection of 317.25 crores nett so far. The film has, thus, grossed 457 crores at the India box office. Adding 150 crores from overseas, the film has grossed 607 crores worldwide.

PK has become Aamir Khan's highest grossing film and it has been going strong at the overseas markets too. With this film, Aamir has broken his own previous records set by Dhoom 3. Since PK is still going quite strong, the film may even make it to 350 crores at the domestic box office.

PK Crosses 320 Crore Mark | 3rd Week Box Office Collections

New releases of the week, Mumbai Can Dance Saala and Take It Easy, could not even survive their first weekend and were disasters on the day of release itself. Meanwhile, PK continued to rule for third week flat. In the process, it managed to cross 320 crore mark, which is huge by all standards.

The film continued to be strong on weekdays well with more than 3 crore coming on each of the days, something which hasn't been seen for a very long time.

While the Aamir Khan starrer has pretty much seen an uninterrupted run for three weeks, it would face massive challenge from Tevar now. The number of screens as well as shows would go down from today and audience too would have a choice to choose a new film in theaters.

Still, the fact remains that Rajkumar Hirani has established his supremacy all over again as a director of repute who has a fan following of his own. He is also one of the rare filmmakers to have enjoyed four successes in a row, something that was achieved last by Indra Kumar more than two decades back when he scored with Dil, Beta, Raja and Ishq. If Hirani manages to score a biggie with his fifth release as well, he would indeed make history!

PK Grosses 319 Crore Nett In Three Weeks

PK grossed a little over 41 crore nett in its third week taking its three week total to a huge 319 crore nett. The film has set a new third week record by a margin beating the 30.50 crore nett of Three Idiots. The third week total is bigger than most films second week with only 4-5 films managing to over 40 crore nett in the second week.

The film has gone over 100 crore nett in Mumbai, over 60 crore nett in Delhi/UP and over 30 crore nett in East Punjab. These three circuits will be contributing over 200 crore nett by the end of its run.

The collections did slow towards the end of the third week at many places but that is expected considering the run it has had for the last few weeks. The lifetime total should finish around the 340 crore nett mark..

PK Tops 575 Crore Worldwide

PK has grossed over 575 crore Wordwide in three weeks making it the highest grossing film worldwide also. Dhoom 3 had grossed around 540 crore. The film may top the 600 crore mark after the third weekend.

The gross figures are 424 crore in India and 153 crore Wordwide. The business in India is stronger than Overseas as it is set to beat the Dhoom 3 figure by around around 30% but in Overseas it will fall short of the what dhoom 3 did in the first phase which was around $28 million.

The film has set benchmarks in every major Indian market but in Overseas it will fall short in two of the biggest markets United Kingdom and The Gulf.

Tevar has taken many screens & I is releasing on 14th in Hindi too .

Don't think it can go that far. 330-340 seems ideal at this point as Tevar is going to eat up a lot of the screens and then more movies releasing next week.

Unless Tevar completely fails and becomes the disaster of the century, 350 is a long shot for PK.
