Charm

I know comedians are doing their job though feel the remarks are way below the belt. But Arjun for sure is a culprit and I hope he gets an earful from Bhai for dragging the name of his married sister into this.

But we have people laughing at Russel Peter mocking accents - I don't approve of racial discrimination but I do understand that it's his brand of humour , I cannot tell him to censor his job. If I don't like it ,l i won't watch it.

But if we start approving everything in the name of humour, where do we draw limits? Plus racial jokes can still have a point--- calling somebody ugly is just hurting their self-esteem for something they have no control over.

@Scorp - yes she is the sister of a bollywood star, but thats the thing , she is born to the family , she will always be in the limelight unless the family or she disapproved of it. But her life did and quite willingly played infront of media . She is "ok" with the attention or else she would have got the press banned . I am sure her family is capable of it. Got her segments put off from media channels or not make appearance on reality show- big boss and be congratulated for the very wedding.
She is celeb by association. I haven't seen her deny it or object to the attention , so I don't get why the media shouldn't mention her, frankly I don't see her complaining too. Arjun has been giving interviews about her since eons - she didn't protest then , why will she now. Her husband , God bless them, must have known all about it unless he was living under the rock.

Fire that Chopra , missed way too many chances.

Dude KRK just posted the article 2 hours ago. News has been floating around for over 20 hrs. Follow up properly with what you were supporting last night -
She attended show last night. Follow up with commentary on her twitter. Also your much known fellow Ranveer fan who had cousin who visited the show mentioned how AIB took digs at Salman, Arpita, Boney Kapoor's marriage and other bits.

@KW - How can racial discrimination have a point? Difference in drawling the line too right? If it can have a point for you than it might not for me.

Tanmay cracks joke on fat people, heck he trended on twitter for it because he himself is well ..fat.

The thing is this event was a ROAST , everything will be below the belt, they kind of broadcasted their brand of humour via the title , hence it becomes self-explanatory what they are going to do. You cannot have a roast and then complain oh they should not be making self-esteem jokes or on sexuality. Defeats the purpose. if this was a casual statement on twitter or a statement , i will get the outrage. But this was roast - don't know what else people expect from it.

Having never watched a show of Peters, I don't have an idea of the exact nature of his jokes. But still, can we really compare a racial/cultural attribute to a physical one? What will we do when someday people start making fun of rape/blast victims? Below-the-beltness doesn't have a threshold now, does it?

bollywoodlife, krk-- i don't trust them... and my friend, if arjun kapoor, arpita khan, and their family, friends don't have an issue, i don't give a f***. let them sort it out
...they know themselves better than me. i haven't seen them, met them...i haven't watched this event either.. so i don't like to lay claims and erect my moral compass where i know nothing what actually happened😆

How would they even know what went behind their backs? Arjun Kapoor sure had problems but he chose to be there. He could have prevented it.

CheekyRanveerFan @tongsincheek

My cousins (impartial audience) felt that at times Arjun was not happy with the jokes (Salman Arpita n 12th fail one n his dad ones esp)
