It's roast though meant to draw all types of reaction , I mean AIB and standup comedians mock everything and anything that goes around the country and world, the moment they start censoring it , the essence will be lost.

No one called it a humour, rather many Salman fans were against what happened at Arpita's weeding. Salman's sister wedding wasn't up for public. What leaked out from there was by people who attended it. Still you are comparing a dig of Salman which mentions Kat's previous relationship (again Kat is a known celeb and is unmarried) to bunch of good for nothing people bashing Arjun and Arpita's relationship from which too rather more personal as it was related to sexual jokes and again remember this Arpita Khan is married and never was in limelight have lame digs taken upon her.

It doesn't justify what Salman did was fine but comparing the 2 above cases are very stupid.

how bro, how? this is an entertainment show... but salman's ceremony was a real life event...

it is na irony that u claim the entertainment show cannot say things in a country where there is freedom of expression... in whole world, it can and it does...😆

while it is true that mocking of katrina should not have happened in real life event... becoz that's real life😲

Wouldn't hypocrisy be suited of better for Deepika, Ranveer and bunch who stood up for moral policing during cleavage controversy but here other women are being mocked on rather known platform as well but it's fine coz it's all for fun. Yup they are indeed setting great examples

Two wrongs don't make a right . Arpita is not even a celebrity who is used to media scrutiny. No need to demean her like that imo. I don't agree with calling any human being ugly on a public platform.

@Skuxx-Deluxx -It's debatable whether she is a public figure or not , she by association and her own will did came out to interact with media after her reception ,accompanied by her husband and her brother. She willingly lets herself photographed at major events , has her clothes talked on popular blogs and had a thread running about her here. So yeah, debatable. If she didn't want her past life, ex-bfs mentioned around , i am sure her brother might aid her in burying it. She has herself spoke about it , so has Arjun , right to the day of her marriage. Nothing has come out of it which is offensive or unexpected.

It's a roast , a program meant to talk , joke about anything that goes around , her wedding happens to be one such event too. You are basically telling them to censor their jokes because they might offend certain sensibilities , so should we also tell bollywood and Salman to stop making sexist , cheap movies because they might offend certain people.

Think they should have mentioned her FIL rather , he has a sex scandal and a corruption charge , should have been more fun gunning for that angle.

Entertainment show or reality both has it's limit. What AIB did was as bad or maybe rather worse than what Salman did. Using the tag of entertainment show doesn't one should use that platform to take advantages of it's meaning. What do you say if a family of member of your fav was rather made fun of on such show? especially when it's rather cheap sexual jokes??

I'd only blame Arjun at this point. He's the one who dated Arpita and should have made sure she isn't subjected to such cheap remarks. Especially considering his Bhai jaap in every public platform to show he's one of Sallu's prodigies and the fact that Arpita is a married woman now.
