That happens with every movie though...the rival heros fans always try to bring it down by spamming shit on twitter...

But with this one, it's interesting coz several tweets express disdain on e movie "making fun of Hinduism and more than any other religion" and in a country with such a large Hindu population, that could be a crippling blow...

I haven't seen the film but I'm curious if there is any meat to that argument..

THE TM should receive an award for making the most idiotic and stupidest post of the year BRAVO...if 26 crores (32 reported by others) is considered 'underperforming' i don't know what sort of performance are u talking about...

and yeah do u even realize the cold wave making atmosphere hell these days, and ppl rushing the theatres facing that...they will not do it for every actor. if this is not star power what is ? i don't knw.

@bold:sad state though instead of enjoying a good movie people get to this kind of acts bcoz of their hatred...

This is Hirani's boldest film...but yes even I was thinking abt it while watching the film as those people make an issue even on a small act...Though I feel that the film has an underlying beautiful message ... it's not making fun of Hinduism but making fun of people's blind faith and beliefs and on Godmen...just don't go by those negative tweets,it's better u yourself judge it after watching it...

@bold AGREED. This same TM was saying PK will flop before it released and now saying it has just underperformed..

Firstly, PK is not a masala flick. It's like a 3 Idiots, and secondly it may not have got a higher opening such as your example "Bang Bang" but it will get better in the next few days. Why are people comparing the openings anyway? Does it matter?
