this is what iam trying to say... amir has less crowd pull ON FIRST DAY when compared to others khans however be the movie is, but on the first day collections he cant beat other 2 khans..

PK - Second highest non holiday opener

Jai Ho and Kick - 16 cr+ and 25 cr+(below PK)

Aamir is the one who pulls less crowd on first day. 😆

Really?? Some stupid posts here.

How on earth is 26 crores underperforming??It is the highest of 2014 and 2nd highest ever non holiday opening. With less screens than any biggie this year. Some people really need to see a shrink.

26 on friday, 30 on Sat and 35 today from early trend, might even cross that. Underperforming my ass.😆

And I agree with @Blue-Ice, all three khans are about equal in star power as of now. You cant really seperate them.

For those doubting Aamir, he gave record openings with MP, Ghagni, 3I, D3. If that is not brute star power than I dont know what it. So go a little easy on the hate. To much is bad for health, you know.

highest of '08 - ghajini
highest of '09 - 3I
highest of '13 - Dhoom 3

4 for Aamir ..

in this time span Salman had 3 ( Dabangg , Bodygaurd , ETT ) , SRK 2 ( OSO, HNY ) , HR 1 ( Dhoom 2 )

Edit : Fanna too had the highest opening record at one time which was eventually broken by Krishh later that year 😆

Oh man! People are mocking this film for underperforming? Funny stuff. 😆

This might not be the best movie of the decade but its clearly so so much better than the movies which collected some 40 plus crores on the first day.

Yes, at the end of the day its all about entertainment and this movie provides exactly that without any cringe worthy stuff and also without belittling the audience intelligence. 😃 And why do we audience need to care about the opening numbers anyway? 😕 We are not the producers. 😆

P.S. And I'm not even a fan of Aamir.
