While everyone knows that Ranbir Kapoor and Rajkumar Hirani will team up to work on the Sanjay Dutt biopic, it can now be revealed that it won't be the first time the two will collaborate. RK will also find a mention in the credits of Hirani's much-awaited PK, which releases today.
How? Well sources close to the production house revealed that RK will be seen making a special appearance in the movie. When Hirani and Aamir Khan were looking for someone to play an important cameo in the film, they immediately thought of Ranbir. The actor agreed and was soon on board.
However, the news of Ranbir being a part of the movie was guarded with extreme caution. In fact, just the core team of the project knew this secret. The makers have not revealed much about the project, which has caused immense intrigue and curiosity among the moviegoers. The promotions of the movie are in full swing.
And though Anushka Sharma and Aamir have been sitting through media interactions, they both refuse to talk much about the movie. And now with the RK addition, things just got more interesting.
Cameo Kapoor
This isn't the first time Ranbir Kapoor is doing a cameo. The actor also made a special appearance in Bhoothnath Returns (2014) that starred Amitabh Bachchan. He played himself in the movie that was directed by Nitesh Tiwari. He had also previously shot the special number Tai Tai Phish for Chillar Party, which released in 2011 and was co-directed by Nitesh. In 2015, the actor will be seen playing himself once again in Babbu Ki Jawaani that stars Karan Wahi. And though it was earlier claimed that RK will be making a special appearance in Roy, the posters as well as the trailer suggest it's far more than that.
