He is right now one of the biggest star in india(top 3), what mistake lol? Could easily top it at the end year with P.K.

Hmm... Doing Mela and wasting 4 years on Mangal Pandey are probably the big mistakes of his career. It would have been interesting to see Aamir in Darr, tho I really liked SRK in that. And for HAHK, , I could see Aamir do that and it would probably work, but still Salman perfectly matched that role

I'm happy he rejected them so srk and sallu can do those movies with their style. Love sallu and srk😆

1) Aamir didn't reject Darr, he wanted a joint narration with Sunny because he knew way before anyone else that Yash Chopra was playing games and narrating different versions to both. Chopra signed SRK without informing Aamir.

I was going to say Dhoom 3 and Mann.. I wish he wouldn't have done those movies.. But from these options votes for 4 years break..

after Lagaan he took too much time for next which is really bad he is now 50 just imagine if he will do 2 or 3 movies a year😔

- Accepting dozens of trash films post QSQT.

- Being too vocal against co stars, media and filmmakers even as a newcomer. His attitude is a big reason why his pre Lagaan phase is not great.

- 4 year break post DCH

- Jessica Hines issue and issue with father. It tarnished his image for a long time.

- Banning media till 2007. It hurt his reputation only.

Aamir didn't reject HAHK. It was not even offered to him. Why would Rajshris offer him when he was giving flops post QSQT and Salman had proven an ATBB success with MPK which he did with them?

Aamir was insecure of 2 hero films. This is why he avoided Saajan and had issues in making of Darr also.

He barely got along with Salman during AAA. He wanted to avoid Ishq also which he admitted in his own interview to Screen. He did it only because he couldn't say no to Indra Kumar as his film Dil had saved his career from sinking due to initial flops.

Even now he can share screen space with a Sharman or Maddy but not another established rival.

DDLJ was never offered to Aamir either. It was offered to Saif who refused it.
