Ranveer Singh? He was told he wasn't good looking enough for cinema, ummm he's so hot now. He worked on his appearance so much.

Abhishek Bachhan has the potential to look really HOT and be mainstream, if he had the motivation to work on himself. He could easily do what every other actor has done.

We always say that looks don't matter, they don't for movie lovers like us, but the general public and directors want eye candy for their films.That's just the way the world works. Even Ajay Devgan is not that great looking, but how does Singham returns become such a hit? It's because of motivation, and a ton of hard work, and he really had to get fit for the movie.

Abhishek Bachan is a better actor than all of the newcomers who are now considered mainstream, he honestly just needs motivation. He has the potential to do any kind of role. Directors just don't rope him in because they don't think he can handle a solo film, but someone needs to offer him a film like Guru, or a solo film that requires him to work on himself intensely, so that he comes to the mainstream light. He has gotten quite side- tracked into comedy zone. Honestly think he can do WAY MORE. I think he's a better actor than ASH.

Some people may argue that he doesn't need to lose weight, or get fit, or get six pack abs, but to stay in competition with everyone its kind of necessary now days. That's just how the world works. I love his acting ability and find him good looking, but the general public doesn't see him that way, and just limits him to Bachan's son. Kind of Sad.
