I liked the film magadheera ... it was good n clean entertainer

i think athadu was remade in hindi ... hero was bobby deol i think... not sure ... bec i have see the same to same field fight in one of the trailers for the film... ...sorry don't remember the name ...

But I thought Ram Charan..the hero of the original himself isn't very tall!...😆

@dhakarn --- TFS! I checked it out... oh my, I didnt even know about the movie... it failed so miserably 😆

I too think Ram Charan's pretty short-average...

Shahid can play the character well.. especially considering the fact that Shahid can show his aggressive side too..

as i said the 'character' needed a tall hero ... means when in hindi, the warrior should look a bit tall than his south indian counterpart as per the geographical divide ... shahid is a very good actor n hard working person n i am sure he will pull if off but somehow i feel the role won't suit him ... i don't mean that all southindians r short ( we r not) , but looking at the historical depictions , i think they always r shown a bit short than the north indians

I am happy for Shahid! He deserves all the success after Haider.

I hope he gets great offers and is considered in the top slot of actors...

Let's see!...People said the same thing about R..Rajkumar..that he would not be able to pull off a masala hero role!...but the SS Audience loved him!...nothing is impossible for Shahid!...😆

Maghadheera or whatever...like its already pointed out, not necessary that all south remakes are going to be hit. And I think Shahid should give a pause before he works with directors who make masala/massy films, again.

I would rather watch him working with VB again on one those Shakesperean comedies that they have been talking about or even a romcom with Imtiaz Ali.

No doubts whatsoever that he can't pull off the role😃.

It is the love story of a heroic warrior and princess who die without their love being successful and a villain who also dies trying to get the heroine through ill means.

All three are reborn and just when hero is about to be successful in getting heroine, villain implicates him falsely in murder of her father.

The rest of the story is about remembering their flashback and the warrior and princess getting together in love along with a fight killing the villain.
