He's cute, but his height is the problem he is really short
Some short guys are good looking, Salman for example but unlike Varun Salman's face is almost perfect people overlook his height.

Is he really? Salman and SRK look taller than him, maybe he needs to stop bulking. Short bulky guys aren't attractive. If he was leaner he would look taller, like how SRK looks taller than Salman even though they are the same height

It is all a matter a perception and taste. Doesn't matter if he inch tall or short. Just a matter of taste.

To be fair to Varun though, his debut film was not exactly great and none of his films have been memorable, that made me go wow.

Salman has MPK which presented him really well in the beginning and romantic monster hits like HAHK and HDDCS. Ranveer was presented well in BBB and Ram Leela. SRK has Darr and Baazigar where he made anti-heros sympathetic, monster hits like DDLJ and KKHH.

In the end, looks really don't matter. Ranveer and SRK are not exactly gorgeous, but there is something about them that makes me like them. In the end, just a matter of taste and who we like.

Average by BW stds.He looked his best in MTH and climax scene of SOTY.He is better looking than Ranveer but not as good looking as Ranbir(Yup I among the very few who considers Ranbir a looker)
