No, he has the director face that belongs behind the camera of his family, dad, brother and Kunal Kohli. He works hard to have an actor's body.

The biggest issue with Varun is his height..So for me personally, short guy + a bulked up body with 6 pack abs is the last thing i consider hot/ sexy..But hey, looks are subjective at the end of the day so am sure there are many out there who dig his looks 😆

THIS..After reading all the reviews on the forum, i had high expectations from HSKD 😆 Varun was alright but Alia came across as very artificial..This when i actually like Alia & loved her performance in 2 States..But there was something off about their performance in the film..But yeah, Badlapur might change my perception too if he delivers a knockout performance..

Good-looking is a relative term and depends upon person to person.

I never found Aishwarya beautiful, whole world finds her beautiful.

Varun is OK. Not good-looking like Salman but much better than guys like Ajay from early days.

Actors don't have to be good-looking in Bollywood.
Neither Amitabh is good-looking nor SRK. Two are the biggest stars in the industry today.

But actresses have to look beautiful and fair.. Parineeti's slow down while Katrina's top position in the industry is an evidence of that.

Either you like the star then nothing else matters. If you don't like them, everything becomes bad looking 😆

He's nowhere close to good looking. Below average...really!

But it hardly matters, if SRK can become a sex symbol...then anyone can. As long as he keeps playing the right roles.
