Man I was just comparing heights as people say they find his height unattractive.
But you are comparing a 3 film old actors filmography to 25 year old in industry legends. SRK's first 3 - 4 films? Do you consider them memorable? Ranveer's RamLeela was never pathbreaking in general. Majorly got average reviews and was never touted as anything that great. I mean it is sort of an insult to put Ramleela with films like HDDCS, HAHK, DDLJ etc... Ranveer's best were Lootera and BBB. By the Ranveer is yet to be known as bankable star. Same applies with Dhawan. Another example that you shouldn't judge any actor by their first 3 - 4 films is Ranbir Kapoor. His 4th film was rather iconic than his first 3. But yeah its pointless as I was only comparing heights
Likes and dislikes for me are formed the first time I see them. I am not old enough to see MPK in the theater and I am rather fuzzy about where I saw DDLJ. But the reaction was a wow which has lasted me from childhood and made me pay for movies like JaiHo and JTHJ and even after that go see their movies. 😆
Ranveer was an instant wow in BBB. RL could be average to the critics or path breaking and I do agree with that, but Ranveer was wow in it for me. The operative word is for me. No critic can make me like a film or an actor. It has to happen naturally.
I liked Ranbir because I like his grand father a lot and he reminded me of him. The wow was Barfi.
None of the reasons I like any of whom I like are based on logic. That is what I meant. You cannot argue or reason with people to like someone or give them top 10 reasons why.
Most of whom people like IMO are just that one moment where we like them. Goes beyond BO, acting, looks.. Some people like Varun's looks and acting, some people don't. Just like anyone else.
Just my 0.02c.
