Will Haider win all the awards this yr ?

It seems to be the most critically acclaimed movie this yr and even BO wise its doing decent business . Best actor for Shahid is pretty much confirmed . What do u think ?

As long as it gets to a semi hit verdict and as long as PK doesn't get better reviews 😉

Even if PK gets good reviews, in terms of awards I think Shahid has it. No one gives awards to Aamir because he doesn't come.

haven't watched the movie but awards in bollywood go to new people, long-overdue people, film family members.

Because Haider is doing good business and Shahid must have done a great job, i think he will win it. Even if BV had released this year, Shahid would have won it IMHO.

if BV had flopped only then

Shahid will probably get the best actor awards.

It sounds like Tabu and Kay Kay Menon should be picking up critics awards at least because there's been a few reviews that mentioned them as the best performers in the movie, but since these are Bollywood award shows, there's a good chance those two might end up empty handed.

Best actress in the popular categories has to be Kangana.

Shahid is almost confirmed for best actor.
Tabu will win critics best actress or supporting actress award in FF.

If PK is as good as expectations , then best director & best film can go either ways.

Best actor Shahid. It is seriously one of the greatest performances in BW history, not just this year if you ask me and I went in thinking 'shahid aur Shakespeare, dekthe hain'. The role is also iconic like the Gabbar role of Sholay for instance which people talk about even now, long after the actor is gone IMO.

Tabu IDK if she will be nominated for best actress or supporting, but just give her the award now. It is such a complex, strong female role and she played it so well. Performance level is at the Nargis Mother India type level. Just one of those roles that will be remembered as one of the greatest female iconic Bollywood roles ever IMO.

These are two roles that will be written in their obituaries. It and they are that great, goes beyond awards. Very iconic, career defining roles as well as watershed Bollywood roles.
