I really cannot think of any other performance this year from the actors that were really good or anything. There were a lot of improvements this year (Sid, varun etc) but doubt they will win.

SRK Doesn't seem to have a great role in HNY and Aamir doesn't get awards. I mean if Shahid doesn't win this year I will actually be shocked because door door so koi competition nahi.

But you never know, they might pull a stunt and give it to Hrithik for Bang Bang or something LOL that'll just be hilarious.

I wouldn't be surprised if they stick Shahid to a the best actor critics trophy and give the popular one to a big star. They always do that. Unless Haider can reach 100 crores like BMB, I have doubts that they would give him the popular award (although they should)

Not necessarily.. SRK won for Swades, Ranbir won for Rockstar, AB won for Black and none of these films did great at the BO. As long as Haider does at least average business (which it's already doing) , he should win the popular award too.

This year is like Filmfare 2005. Not enough healty competition among movies. That why the largest winning records is still for Black, because of lack of competition. So I guess Haider could share with Queen and PK the distribution of major awards with small spaces are giving to Maardani and Mary Kom. 2 states might nominate here and there without win any (YJHD) and Ek Villain bags sountrack awards like Aashique 2. Contest are closed. What a boring year after last year too many candidates.
