Looks like Shahrukh Khan doesn't think highly of Aamir Khan as an actor, if his latest attempt at humour is to go by.
During the 'SLAM! The Tour' concert to promote the film Happy New Year in Vancouver a few days back, Boman Irani performed a song on the stage to make up for the absence of singer Yo Yo Honey Singh who was sitting out due to injury. No prizes for guessing that Boman performed Give Me Some Sunshine' from 3 Idiots', his favourite track on which he also plays the guitar.
The crowd seemed to love the song, and after it got over, Shahrukh Khan apparently indulged in some banter. The superstar asked Boman Irani which film the song was from? Boman replied 3 Idiots'.
SRK then asked Irani to name the lead actor of the movie. Boman tried to imitate SRK's Happy New Year' trick where he puts a hand over his lips and tries to mumble an unpleasant fact to his colleagues. As Boman formulated Aamir Khan's name in the same style, Shahrukh tried to crack a funny one. He apparently said, "Itne bade bade stars stage pe khade hain, yeh aadhe hero ka song kyun gaaya?"
The jibe isn't seen funny by Aamir's fans back home.
Shahrukh Khan and Aamir Khan aren't best of friends but they are quite cordial with each other. In the past, Aamir Khan too has cracked a joke about a dog named Shahrukh that didn't go well at all with the fans.
