Str8 cut to the point.
Officially decalred budget of KS is 15 crores in total.
8 cr : production (post & pre)
7 cr : Marketing budget
Sonam openly declared in Komal Nahta boxoffice show "etc business" alongwith Fawad that KS is made on a SHOE STRING budget, they got ONLY ONE day to shoot Engine ki Seeti entire song (usually songs takes anywhere atleast 5 days to a week to get shoot) and the Abhi toh party shuru that they picturized later had just 1.5 day to be conceptulized, organized and to shoot it, BECAUSE of the limitations of budget.
KS did 11.5 crore business in first 3 days , so out of a total budget of 15 cr it ONLY needs 3.5 crore more to recover its budget that it will obviously do in upcoming 4 weekdays, and as there is no release next week , it can easily do 4 to 5 crore more business on next weekend (fri-sun) that will make it 20 cr in just 10 days and film will be an average fare...and definately in its lifetime it will easily do around 25 crore total business that will get Khoobsurat the status of ABOVE AVERAGE/SEMI-HIT ..and if it somehow manage to do 30 cr business, it will be declared a CLEAN HIT aas per trade any film that do double business then its total cost is termed as HIT.
So SK and FK fans, nothing to worry about.
