Paresh Rawal says he will let his sons struggle and find their own way. Read on.

Paresh Rawal, a self-made actor, wants his sons to learn the ropes and find a place for themselves in filmdom. He has no plans to launch them.

His eldest son is being mentored by Naseeruddin Shah, said Paresh Rawal and added: "My second son is into screenplay... he is into writing."

"I never had any launching pad. I can give them advice, but if you think I will invest Rs.10 to Rs.15 crore and launch my kids, then I will not do that. Besides I don't even have that much money," he said.

"Let them struggle and find their own way," added the actor who entered filmdom in the early 1980s and found a foothold after his hair-raising performance as a ruthless smuggler in "Naam".

In his over three-decade career, he has played all kind of roles - from villainous to character to comedy.

One of his recent noteworthy performances was in "Special 26". He also impressed in "OMG - Oh My God!".

Paresh Rawal's next is "Raja Natwarlal", coming out Friday, and he said: "It's a believable film and we have worked a lot on the script. I have worked with Emraan earlier and he is an underrated actor. He is extremely hardworking."

He is absolutely right. Every parent should let their kids find their way.

Why is everyone advertising - 'Mera beta bada ho gaya hai' - these days? Why don't you guys let your kids make their own way like Shahid did?

Now after reading this, a few would google his sons' name. And the kids would ultimately start getting attention.

Well that is the right way to go about it. Don't shove your kids at the audience. Let the industry choose talent.

What I worry about is that the truly talented stars will struggle, while untalented star kids will get careers handed on a platter.

The thought is good...but the thing is that they will always be ur sons...and anyone who respects u and ur work will be biased towards them..whether u help them or not ...they will always have an advantage over an outsider...Its like Shahrukh saying ..that I will let Aryan struggle...Aryans will struggle...is the biggest joke ever😆...but I am totally for a talented star kid joing the BW industry...its not their fault that a star is their parent and they have as much right to go after their dreams...as anyone else...Just take those untalented ones away😵

Why don't these starkids venture into direction, cinematography or other forms of film making?! Why do they all want to be actors?? Or do we know very little about those star kids. Thank god KJO & Adi Chopra didn't decide to be actors😆

u know...ever star kid is their own person...just because there are too many of them going into acting...we can't ask the next to go into a different field...lets looks at them as individuals.

Sure BI! But what I meant is that we hear so little about star kids going into other fields of film making. Either they don't get any limelight or everyone wants to be an actor. Ofcourse it's their life & they can do whatever they want to do. I am not saying that they should change for me or anyone😆
