Alia Bhatt, Sushant Singh Rajput pair up for Homi Adajania's next

Pairing Alia Bhatt with young heroes seems to be filmmakers' favourite passtime of late. After reports of Alia and Ranbir starring in Ayan Mukerji's next, comes news that Alia will star opposite yet another actor.

According to a leading daily, Alia and Sushant Singh Rajput will star opposite each other in Homi Adajania's next project for Illuminati Films.

Clearly a new pairing, it has scope since both actors have received good response to their recent films. Sushant rose to stardom with his debut film Kai Po Che! and won hearts with his performance in Shuddh Desi Romance. He'll soon be seen in Rajkumar Hirani's P.K., Dibakar Banerjee's Detective Byomkesh Bakshi, and Shekhar Kapur's Paani.

Alia, on the other hand, has put some films behind her. Her most recent Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania fared well at the box office, but it's her performance in her debut film Student of The Year and subsequently in 2 States earned her stars.

Both actors and Homi Adajania's have yet to confirm this.

Hope its true. Like them both. Alia is doing a lot of movies. Must have 3-4 releases every year.

What's with this Sushant guy?? Why is everyone signing him left and right?? Is he even a good actor?? I mean I have just seen that crappy Sudh Desi Romance movie and his acting was nothing much to write home about.

Yayy finally some news on Sushant, hope its true ... they'll make a nice pair.

Does anyone have any insight on why he is so in demand?

Well, IMO, he is a good actor..Better than Varun, Sid or ARK at this point 😆 He was really good in KPC and he is a brilliant dancer..We always crib about nepotism so why not give this guy a chance to prove himself? 😆

I thought Saif was in Homi's next?
