U gave example of Jai ho, what about Talaash, film coming after 3 Idiots? Why isn't that even a HIT or not even crossed 100 Cr? Tab BAAP ka Starpower kya kar raha tha? & Mind it, it was released on full fledge screens maximum @ time.

As i said it is the setup, same Hike if was given to Talaash it would have landed Hit/SuperHit considering the business would have been 100+ Cr.

lol Radhe ji...did u even read my post??? This is what I am saying...that u cannot compare starpower based on single movies...and I was going by the TM's logic not mine😆

Dhoom 2 was biggest HIT of that Year & Also was BIGGEST GROSSER at that time, somewhere like 80+ Cr. Dhoom 2 has boomed Dhoom series like Rocket. It was Smash hit from 1st show. So Dhoom Series was bound 2 happen good in next franchise irrespective of Star.

Also D3 has IMAX advantage, a minimum 25-30 Cr added in whole collection which no other film released ever has.

Gaddar ka Lifetime beat kara hai not it's success value. 2001 mein aayi thi Gaddar, still it is biggest films in terms of Footfall.

Oh k, u like wanted... what u like the most in Wanted?

Wanted was a good entertainer. It had action, a bit love story, and a bit of comedy and there was flow to the storyline. It had concrete screenplay and there was an element of suspense attached to it. I had never guessed Sallu's character to be the cop in the climax. Thus, the impact was amazing. Same with ETT and Ghajini, both had good backdrop + storyline along with the action on the side...

Dhoom Series Success scale:

1. Dhoom - 2004 = 29 Cr

2. Dhoom 2 - 2006 = 80.25 Cr

3. Dhoom 3 - 2013 = 261 Cr.

3 Times almost always when released. While 3rd part get added bonus of IMAX+HIKE.

That was Epic... Hall was cheering so loud when Vinod Khanna said His son is Alive... He is IPS Rajveer Shekhawat... look @ Prakash Raj's face... next scene when Salman ran towards the gym where Vinod's was shot & both Mahesh & Prakash's gang getting shock as Ye yede ko hi hona tha uska beta... Hall was electrifying at that moment... we were so happy 2 see the hall response as we know yes now Salman's time is back again (2000-2008 low spell)... 1 of my most fav. Salman film...
