No, juvenile diabetes is Type 1 diabetes which both Fawad, and Sonam have.
Type 2, like you said can be controlled in other ways and can actually be reversed (so yes type 2 diabetes can be cured) through lifestyle changes like exercise and improvements in diet especially for those who are obese (obesity and type 2 diabetes is highly correlated).
