Kareena lobbies for CE sequel

Kareena Kapoor instant wit was in full flow at the trailer launch of Singham Returns. While Kajal Agarwal played Ajay's love interest in the first installment, it's Kareena Kapoor who will be seen reprising the role in the sequel. While Rohit didn't offer any explanation behind his decision to do away with Kajal Agarwal, the director did reveal an interesting pattern hitherto noticed that of Kareena being featured in all the sequels of his hit movies. "I take her in only sequels," quipped Rohit to which Kareena instantly asked, "So you will be signing me for the sequel of Chennai Express as well, right?" The question elicited smiles all around and Rohit looked at loss for words for a brief moment. Regaining his composure soon, Rohit said, "Well, in case of a sequel, Chennai Express will have to be called Chennai Returns."
