After the salman fiasco aish did not want to get into a serious relationship and Vivek knew that. He went into it with eyes wide open. Unfortunately salman respects aish more than Vivek so that did not work. Vivek Oberoi is a publicity and attention wh**e.

For all we know the whole Ash-Vivek thing might be all in Vivek's head or maybe it was backfired promotional strategy for that movie they did.
