Most of the movies where they want to write off a character from backstory like hero's family, they always say they died in car crash. Isn't there any better way to explain their death?

Does it really matter? hmmm. Lets see

There are several types of movie goers. I won't list all of them but just a couple.

1: Casual movie goers who will eat whatever crap is being fed to them. They won't think much and just seek entertainment.

2: Serious movie goers who likes to make best of their time invested in movies. These will analyse many scenes, discuss the stories and post of message board like this and IMDB. If you feed them the same crap again and again then they will wonder where has the creativity gone.

Now saying such a small part doesn't affect the main plot is not completely right. Because movie is made of sub plots, small things, etc. That is why a show like Breaking Bad is considered to be the best show ever. If you carefully see every scene then every scene is tried to be perfectly executed. Yes there are some goofs but when it comes to science, they have indeed gone way too far in their research. If you see a movie of Christopher Nolan then the guy like to show things which has never seen before. That is why biggest producer of India Aditya Chopra was happy when he managed to copy 1% of what Nolan did in Batman.

So yes every small things matter.

Car crash, because that is one logical way you can show a mass death.

Gas leak...Naah...not to relatable.

Car crash is probably something most of the people out there are aware of, and can relate to it.
