Anyways I am telling about right now stats. Its clearly visible that Akshay Kumar's star power has dipped... Once he had star power which made even a crappy Khiladi786 a 100 crore grosser but now people are fed up with his films that they don't bother to see it. Holiday was able to gross only 100 crore despite it having a heroine and good music and also getting good reviews. YJHD has same parameters was big success.

Also in market, Ranbir clearly has more value than Akshay. Brand endrosments, no. of fans, totaly buzz that should surround an actor. I feel Akshay has somehow lost that golden touch which he had one upon a time

You r jumping the gun...i know u r a ranbir fan but u know, it's not nice to compare and belittle a star who has worked 20 yrs with an actor who started 7 yrs back.
Akshay just made a 100 cr movie which was supposed to flop and critics panned it!

Talking about no. of fans, his FB page has more fans than SRK. did you know that :O? So, it's not nice to say like that.
You are undermining the hardwork Akshay kumar has put into his career by doing that. Even RK won't agree to that. And i think Ranbir is a great actor but fans shouldn't jump the gun.

I feel this year will be really good for akshay. Holiday did really well and that movie didnt had good songs and sonakshi star power is not as much as deepika or kat star power but the movie did well. Akshay performance was appreciated, I think Gaabar will be a huge blockbuster. And then there is Singh is bling and other projects. I think all of them will work.

No matter what , Khans will always be Epic and Unforgettable . They are the Ones who from nearly 25 yrs making this Film Industry Work , Coz I don't remember anyone else acquiring or crossing their Super stardom Status in these 25 yrs .

Ranbir is a bigger star than Akshay for sure. Lol on the person saying that holiday was panned by critics. The opening of the film was even lower than Arjun film 2 states and also Gunday. His best reviewd film s26 couldn't cross 70 crore and ranbir worst reviewed film Beshram did around 70 crores.

When people talk about 100 cr made by a movie, its it after dedcuting the cost?

Akshay gave successful OMG without any heroine, and in supporting role. Only Aamir and SRK have achieved this feat apart from him. I do not believe Akshay is that lagging in star power.

In past also he gave year's second biggest hit in second year post his debut (Mohra,1994). Whereas Ranbir is in 7th year but has never given even year's second biggest hit not even in multistarrer/ensemble film.

The opening of the film was average, the wom carried the film.

People are forgetting YJHD had a Top actress, charter buster songs, was promoted heavily, two exes were coming together, was dharma production movie.
