I don't think I've seen any on the list but waqt was so depressing, saw it multiple times and probably got teary eyed each time.

Sri is a genius anywhere.. She is MAGIC on-screen!

I mentioned Kamal specifically, because I thought his movie with Rati Agnihotri was hype.. I watched Sadmaa & finally understood WHY he is THE Kamal Hassan.

Pinjar starring Urmila Matondkar and Manoj Vajpayee.. That is one heart wrenching movie. From the list, haven't watched some, others didn't depress me.

Poor baby roaming all alone on roads searching for his mother. 😕

When he sat near a garbage bin and ate something and there was a stray dog beside him...I could have cried...

It was just a toddler!

I have vote for Sadma but I also was depressed with Pinjar starring Urmila and Manoj Bajpai... Although climax wasn't depressing but the whole movie was😭

The whole rabid violence & inhuman collective behaviour of the Partition, was brought out so, so well. 😭

One of Vajpai & Mantondkar's FINEST performances! 👏

I'd like to add Murder 2 to the list. The story of the minor prostitute and the end she meets is seriously heart-wrenching.

It's a very sweet movie, very well acted. Just that they build you up and then bam...😭. It's worth a watch. Sri and Kamal are just fantastic. They don't even die,that would have been ok to me as it is not incomplete then and she would never know .
