When you say "Hey They should quit" & When you say "By time, they will come down eventually". Now All 3 Khans when debuted way back during the end of 80's, Audience was fried from the overdose of Big B's / Mithun / Dharmendra kind of those movies which were high on Action / Revenge / Masala trends.
Khans didn't march it to take Big B or others down. They made their own mark. I am sure if Audience would have rejected them in start, they would have fizzle out soon & Actors like Sunny Deol, Anil, Govinda & Sanjay Dutt would have been ruling the 90's.

I want him to do a Dhoom movie as well...đ...if people could tolerate a constipated Khan...I am sure they can tolerate a wrinkly one as wellđ
It's a shame though really that an actor like Sunny isn't given enough credit for the star power he once had. The same HAHK, DDLJ type of films everyone talks about...Gadar was the baap of those films at the box office! đ

I always feel that for some reason, the newer generation doesn't really have that "it" factor that the generation of the past did. And I am not just referring to Bollywood, I am talking about other professions as well around the world.I feel that in some ways it may be because the newer generation doesn't have the drive to work as hard as the generations of the past did. With so much access to technology today, the youth (including me) is spending much more time just socializing and caring about each other's life stories rather than having a clear focus on the future. It's like a "anything goes" type of society today, a I-care-a-damn society. Interestlingly, I think that is also what has made the entire nation of India go gaga over Salman in the recent years, as he represents that "don't care" mentality that is there around the world today with the youth.

Gadar has the maximum footfalls in cinema halls then any movie ever made in India. The reason it is not talked about much is that after Gadar, Sunny couldn't give much bigger or even similar Big hit like that film. So effect of that huge film faded out. While Salman/Srk has given much bigger n better hits than HAHK/DDLJ.
On the topic of Dhoom 4, I think it would work great if Salman was the hero and SRK the villain. SRK could be the evil Don 2-type of villain who outsmarts Salman through the film using mind games and his evil laugh, while Salman would be the macho good guy that just wants to get his hands on SRK.It would work great with the audience. Half of the audience would want Salman to get his hands on SRK and break him, while the other half of the audience would root for SRK to kill Salman, the same way the audience rooted for SRK to kill Sunny in Darr!
Whatâs the plot behind all this? These two brothers donât get along https://www.instagram.com/p/DNaCjQlB_NN/?igsh=MWE1bjNidGhtbm9zYg==
Salman wanted to do the remake of that Italian film on which Sitaare Zameen par had been made, he share this with Aamir. Instead of leaving it...
