Hollywood star Jennifer Aniston has been voted the Best Dressed Woman in 'People' magazine's latest issue, attributed in part to her girl-next-door image. But which Indian woman makes the cut? Some stylish women pick their favourites:
Deepika Gehani, designer: "Preity Zinta has the look and the attitude of the girl-next-door. I have seen her in jeans a lot of times and she is bubbly, trendy but classy all the same. I think she carries herself very well in casuals - with maybe a jacket - and it looks great on her."
Malaika Arora Khan, model/ host: "I would say Preity Zinta has this whole girl-next-door-look and in more than one way can be compared to Jennifer Aniston. Both have this very nice, charming, squeaky clean look and feel about them."
Rakshanda Khan, TV actor: "I like people who are dressed for the occasion but who don't go overboard. Gauri Pradhan dresses quite well, never over does it and has the girl-next-door-look."
Tupur Chatterjee, model: "Sushmita Sen carries herself very well. I think it's her body language, her height, the intelligent look on her face and her confidence; everything reflects. Her personality is such that she can confidently carry off a jeans and t-shirt in a classy way."
Ramona Narang, socialite:"I feel Haseena Jethmalani fits the girl-next-door bill perfectly. With not too much make up, to look like the girl next door you need to be naturally pretty. Haseena is naturally pretty - inside out."
2 votes for preity?? what do you all think??
