It's not ridiculous at all, the audience have a say. Where are Abhi, Tushar and Uday today? Doing sidekick roles and pretty much nonexistent. I understand it's hard for outsiders to get in but because of that we can't say star kids shouldn't get a chance. Let them prove themselves. Until Barfi and Rockstar no one really thought Ranbir was all that great of an actor, so why not give people like Varun and Arjun time to improve. It's not their fault that outsiders entrance to Bollywood is hard, it's people like KJo and Adi that have that power. They are just 20 some year old guys who are born into a filmy family and happen to love cinema. Nepotism sucks but it exist everywhere!

The audience may well be the final judges, but playing field isn't level, outsiders still have it hard.

yes but he got countless of chances. Got launched with SRK. Got 2 solo leads when they saw his career was sinking. It was obvious that they were trying to push him down our throats.
