Not so long ago, BizAsia reported how refreshing it was to see a friendship working out well in B-town between Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor. However, things definitely seem to have gone sour between them recently, as the duo have refused to shoot an ad together.
According to Mumbai Mirror, a source explained, "Arjun was to fly down to Turkey and Ranveer who is on a cruise in Europe for Zoya Akhtar's Dil Dhadakne Do, was to join him there. But the two actors didn't want to shoot together because the differences between them have multiplied since their last release. During its filming, there were innumerable instances of one-upmanship as each tried to grab more footage and better lines. So, now only Ranveer's portions will be canned in Turkey while Arjun will film his in Mumbai".
It is thought that this cold vibe began while the twosome were shooting for Gunday' (2014) when Kapoor began getting close to Singh's ex Anushka Sharma. It seems during the schedule, the two were seen to be wanting to score over each other even where the dialogues of the film were concerned.
"The negative vibes between the two have now become obvious and the script is now being reworked after which the actors will allot fresh dates to Lloyd, who will be directing the ad film," continued the source.
Kapoor, Singh and director Lloyd refused to comment on the reports.
