Obviously performance is important 😆 that's why I mentioned Akshays performance in holiday being praised.
But the script is the most important part.. It can make or break how well a story is portrayed.

Kareena was amazing in Heroine performance wise IMO but the script was so crappy that it ruined everything lol.

It all goes together I guess lol.

Ash's beauty tends to overshadow her talent and versatility. Truth is she has breadth and depth of good work and not just in Bollywood, but regional cinema as well. So the hype over her talent and comeback is justified to me.

I really, really wish she is the one in Mohenjodaro, but I will settle for a good script.

Yes, Ash was offered HNY but she turned it down because Abhishek was in the film and she wasn't opposite him. That's her reasoning. I may not agree with it but she has been offered HNY

I've said this in many other threads and once again am just repeating myself. With the day and age now, none of the actresses from the 90s can make a huge impact anymore unless the script is extraordinary. Karisma failed. Madhuri failed. Rani failed. Kajol failed somewhat. Only Sridevi managed to outshine and perform well. Of course the fans will rush to theaters to see a new Aishwarya movie, but it's going to really all depend on the script and the male co-stars on how strong of a comeback it will really be.

Ummm...NO SHE DIDNT. Please kindly take off your Rani Mukherjee glasses to get a clear unbiased view. 🤔

Oh and Rani didn't fail..she bombed (and that too miserably).

Kajol didn't fail. If anything, shes probably the only married actress whose success was sustained.

Yes, I know she worked mostly with YRF or a Khan - but isn't that what every actress in their prime does? The fact that she was doing that after marriage to me says a lot.

Hope she pairs with SRK again soon.

Exactly khans were willing to work with her and still are willing to work with her says a lot. That itself is a big achievement. I also hope we see kajol Srk together and also salman kajol together.

One hit and everyone will be saying she is back. I think Sanjay Gupta movie will work for some reason. It is a commercial movie. And she will please her Tamil fans with Mani's movie. So, I think her strategy is good. She cannot do a big commercial movie with a Khan or Hrithik because all the actors will work with the young girls. Aish doesn't need a blockbuster to prove anything to anybody!

Why khans or hr won't work with her? I am sure they will. She's the most beautiful actress out there and if sanjay movie works then there is high possibility that she will be flooded with offers. Admit or or not but aish is still the most beautiful bolly actress out there. Her beauty will help her a lot.

If sanjay movie works then she's gonna be offered more and more roles opposite senior actors. But if sanjay movie doesn't work then I am not too sure, that's why her come back project is risky. For instance if she would had picked HNY which is a sure shot blockbuster then her second inning would had been much more easier but she chose risky project so can't say for sure but yes her beauty will help her.
