Well personally I've never been a fan of Aishwarya's acting. More of her fan comes from her pageant title, her looks, her international fame, and now her family. She's had a few good films to her name, but that's it.

I've said this in many other threads and once again am just repeating myself. With the day and age now, none of the actresses from the 90s can make a huge impact anymore unless the script is extraordinary. Karisma failed. Madhuri failed. Rani failed. Kajol failed somewhat. Only Sridevi managed to outshine and perform well. Of course the fans will rush to theaters to see a new Aishwarya movie, but it's going to really all depend on the script and the male co-stars on how strong of a comeback it will really be.

They can but with right script and with big stars. Karishma failed because her movie was pathetic. Rani failed because Aiyaah was a pathetic as well. Madhuri should had stayed here when she came back to do aaj nachale. At that time she was damn gorgeous and all attention was on her. People were like finally madhuri dixit came back but she ruined it when she went back. And then when she came back, she did jdj which wasn't the best option. People saw too much of her on that show. Then she did GG which was a bore fest although dedh Ishqiya was good. The reason why madz failed was because of over exposure and bad movies. Kajol didn't failed, she made a come back two times, fanaa and mnik and both were hits and they weren't hits because of kajol but because of the right movie she picked and that she worked opposite big stars.

Sridevi come back worked because of not only her but also because of EV was a mindblowing movie.

B. Madhuri focused more on her family life before getting back into films and deciding to move back to India.

Fact is Kajol was in high demand. Khans won't offer movies to Madz, Sri now where as Kajol was spoilt for choices. She rejected KANK and 3 Idiots. I don't think that's the case with Ash either.

She can't work opposite Salman or SRK. Aamir never showed any interest to work with Ash in her prime. So her only hope for a high profile project is with HR.

Why can't she work with SRK? I thought now all is fine between them. Didn't Srk offered her HNY? I think she can work with aamir because if I am not wrong kajol aamir never worked in 90s opposite each other but they did after kajol come back or maybe aamir kajol can work together. You're right about salman but the fan girl inside me wishes that we see Aish Salman together again😆

If it's a good film with a strong script, well made, and well acted, then yes. Otherwise, no. Aishwarya is popular but her popularity very rarely translated to BO numbers even in her prime. She doesn't have it in her to make a bad film work.

And, why are we expecting them to give 100 cr hits? That's ridiculous. She just has to have a hit. That's enough for more offers.

I don't think SRK is gonna work with her after CC fiasco. They may not be in bad terms now but unlikely to work together. As for HNY, I am not sure 'cos I saw DP saying HNY was supposed to be her debut movie.
