Talking of lake, how does it spell stardom? There is a fort called RDB fort, a lake in Ladakh called 3 Idiots lake...does it make Aamir the greatest star? Or those films bigger than any other Indian film? It is common practice to associate names of places to stars or movies shot there.

It is laughable when stuff like wax statues or KWK is brought in to put down Sridevi and prop up Madhuri.

You forgot to add... there are stars* named after Shahid. 😆

BTW, Can some one please tell when a joke like 'Madhuri De Do Kashmir Le Lo' was made about Sridevi. or Any place named after her.
These are even bigger achievements than Madame Tussauds. BTW Aamir was offered to have his statue at Tussauds but he had refused it. As for Rajini, he is in another league, you just can't compare anybody with him.

And please EV wasn't a 100 crore film or had got a huge opening. It worked because of story, if anybody were excited to see Sridevi, it would'have got a huge opening.

It is Sridevi whose comeback film was a smash success. It is Sridevi who has won public polls on Most Admired actress and Greatest actress of last 100 years. Divya Bharti tried to copy Sridevi. Juhi Chawla admitted she tried to copy Sridevi. Karishma Kapoor had said on Jeena isi ka naam hai that Sridevi was her role model. Deepika Padukone named Sridevi among her role models in movies in an interview to Filmfare. When Aamir was on a high post success of QSQT he was asked who he would like to work with and he had named Sridevi.

Sridevi was getting endorsements even when she was not doing movies (PC Jewellers in mid 2000s).

If Sridevi was less popular she would not get such reception or win titles based on public voting.

Sridevi is a pan Indian icon. Not just limited to Hindi films.

The fate of comeback movies shows who has fans in reality also and whosd fans are limited to online forums.

Sridevi has probably won only one such poll and not many. All other polls are won by Madhuri.

If these 4-5 actresses you named wanted to be like Sri, if you search for such list about Madhuri, you will get tired.
About endorsements, you can see who is having more endorsements now.
Yes Sri's comeback was hit(just hit, neither blockbuster not opened big) and Madhuri's were disasters but it's about whole career and not just about comebacks.

Like both of them... But when you talk about Bollywood, Madhuri resonates Bollywood...

these garbage endorsements, statues, polls, red carpet walks with fake smiles, prancing on mag covers, ,...nothing matters.
