But you had said Sri was never called female Amitabh! String? Such articles are there in print, everywhere from Filmfare to Stardust, Movie to Showtime.The title was bestowed to her originally. But only MD PR milked it to promote her innumerable comebacks in late 2000s.

Sridevi may not be bigger than all stars in Japan but made a mark unlike others whose films fail even in native country now.

I think the question should STRICTLY be based on ONE criteria... Its funny how both actresses fans can defend their fav to make their stand RIGHT... Like how Sri fans says "she is the only actress who ruled north and south, or the only actress to have been paid more than her co stars" and Madhuri fans says "she ruled bw completely, she has dhak dhak, she dances so beautiful"...
