I don't mind a heroine talking about a project, if she's the only one lobbying or negotiating for it. But, when there are others who are in talks with the makers, the heroine should put lagam on her zubaan.

If reliable news reports are to be believed then Hrithik Roshan is all set to be part of Ashutosh Gowariker's period epic film Mohenjo-Daro. There have been reports that Sonakshi Sinha will be paired opposite Hrithik. In a Bollywood Hungama exclusive video interview with Faridoon Shahryar, Sonakshi spoke about the film by stating, "Nothing has been decided as yet." But are you in talks with Ashutosh? "We talk to a lot of people but I don't think its right to say anything about it. Until a film is signed, it's still tentative." Would you like to do a film like this? "I would like to do a period film. I would like to work with a director like Ashutosh Gowariker whose films I really like to watch. So yeah I would like to," Sonakshi said. If Sinha is signed for Mohenjo-Daro then do remember that you heard it first on Bollywood Hungama.

Akshay Kumar said in an interview that Sonakshi deserved to win a National Award for Lootera. "He is being very kind." Would you like to do another film like Lootera? "Of course I'd love to be a part of a film like Lootera but I guess Lootera has set the standard so high that I'm being very very choosy about it. I don't want to succumb to any pressure to go for a script that I don't feel very very strongly about. When Lootera came to me I felt the role was written for me and nobody else could do it," Sonakshi said.

Sonakshi had also expressed her disappointment in the manner in which Lootera was completely ignored at the Award shows this year. "It wasn't that I didn't get an award but I didn't like the fact that Vikram wasn't nominated for best director, Amit Trivedi wasn't nominated for best music, Ranveer was nominated for another film but not Lootera." Is she disillusioned with Award shows because if you've seen one award show you've seen them all as winners are more or less repeated in every subsequent award shows? "I've always attended the award functions if I am performing, I don't attend them otherwise. This time I was disillusioned because I didn't understand how these things work. I don't want to be taking these things too seriously anymore," Sinha said.

There have been reports that you shall be signing a woman oriented film? "Yes there is but I am waiting for the right time to announce it," Sonakshi signed off.

Deepika never said that she was approached for PRDP... but her PR definitely claimed. Her PR is aggressive but others (some)are no less. Sonam's PR claimed about many films like Raees,Piku etc. Even her PR claimed that she replaced Deepika in Piku.But we all know who is finally doing Piku.

A little birdie tells us that Shoojit Sircar is keen to rope in Sonam Kapoor in his next film titled Piku. Though there were reports that Deepika Padukone will be playing the female lead in the film, Sonam is being considered to play the female protagonist. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Irrfan Khan.

If Sonam bags this film, the actor will have quite a few films in her kitty. The Bewakoofiyaan actor is a part of the remake of Khoobsurat and not so long time ago, she was signed in to play the female lead opposite Salman Khan in Sooraj Barjatya's next. She's also a part of Arbaaz Khan Productions' Dolly Ki Doli. So here's the interesting part.

Deepika was the forerunner for both Piku and Sooraj Barjatya's next. However, the filmmakers roped in Ms Kapoor instead. And as far as Dolly Ki Doli is concerned, Katrina Kaif was the first choice for the film. But finally, SK bagged the film. We wonder what is so special about Sonam Kapoor that filmmakers prefer her over the top divas of B-town.😆

About Deepika talking about Shuddhi: Kareena & K-Jo officially confirmed that Kareena has also left Shuddhi 1 o 2 days after Hrithik's statement. (Before that Kareena was saying she's unsure of Shuddhi's progress). & within 2 or 3 days (of the confirmation that Kareena also left Shuddhi) Deepika gave this statement...

"I would love to do that film but I don't think Karan (Johar) would come to me with something that he didn't think that I would do justice to," said the "Ram-leela" actress.

"But if he thinks that I would do justice to it then I would love to do that film," she added.

Deepika is currently unaware of the film's status, and said: "I think at the point when Hrithik was doing it, I would have definitely been interested to do it. Now that he is not doing it, I don't know what is happening with the project."

Would you be fine working with any other actor in "Shuddhi"?

"Sure, why not? But like I said it depends on what they (makers of 'Shuddhi') themselves plan to do with the project if it even happens in the first place," Deepika said.

Here she confessed that she was interested in this project when Hrithik was on board...

Doesn't matter if she's given the statement before or after Kareena's ouster, she herself confessed here she was showing interest on the project when Hritihik was the hero & was keeping tabs on the project."Now that he is not doing it, I don't know what is happening with the project"

Mogli - there is this oldest pub in my hometown which was owned by the by the rugby union crew. But now they put a big sign up with chiimchimcher-ee sign up there. Supposedly some kinda tribute to Mary Poppins. I'll take the pic for you next time I drive by. 😊 Today I drove past and thought of you😆😳

On topic - I don't see how Sonam & Deepika became relevant to this topic.

@chimchimcher-ee- I thought Deepika had expressed the desire to work in Shuddhi after Kareena left.I had written this in my comment in Masand's Gossip.Its not news to me. http://www.india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=4043638&PID=107553922&#p107553922But I didn't know that she had said this before also.

For PRDP-

Deepika always maintained she was not approached for the role

Sooraj in a video interview said that he approached Deepika and dates are being matched

Sonam commented about Deepika's PR so tat it won't look like that she got a Deepika reject. Which is not big deal. Deepika made big with Kareena rejects.😉

Deepika's dates couldn't match Salman's hence she couldn't do the movie. We all know that in BW Khans don't adjust dates for the actresses except one Khan SRK.
