I'm not defending that thread or anything, but from some of the comments I've read here it seems like DP was sending feelers while Kareena was still officially a part of Shuddhi.

But it's pretty clear that in Bollywood actresses have to send out feelers for movies if they want any chance of getting cast in these big projects.

She was doing the same with PRDP. The makers were in talks with both Deepu & Sonam.. but Deepu kept on talking about that movie. It forced Sonam's PR to indirectly announce through DNA that she's bagged the project, but Suraj asked her to keep mum.. hence she isn't announcing it. 😆

I don't mind a heroine talking about a project, if she's the only one lobbying or negotiating for it. But, when there are others who are in talks with the makers, the heroine should put lagam on her zubaan.
