No its not written anywhere, but its a fact that audience will draw comparison. Katrina was praised everywhere for the song, so the bar set is pretty high. Lets wait till 7th, I know I won't be watching the show but will see her performance on YT and read what others have to say.

recently i watched a malayalam movie...in that 36 year old heroine asks a qstn to the public...Who decides the expiry date of a women's dream??

the same qstn i ask the people who calls madhuri old..and bash her for her dancing and acting in this age...

Just because you don't look that great in a particular outfit you're suffering from mid-life crisis? At the age of 48 this woman carries herself so well. I'd kill to be in her shoes when I reach that age. Yes I'm not a fan of her styling and her outfit in that particular picture, but Madhuri has every right to wear whatever she wants to wear and whatever she is comfortable in. And that does not equate to mid-life crisis.

On the midlife crisis thing...The midlife of a BW actress starts at 30...not at 48...after 40 they are considered not redeemable...This may sound harsh...but its true..

Her taste may not be the greatest but sure is not mid-life crisis.

if ash can be applauded for putting on weight for sake of motherhood and then loosing it and flaunting for cannes and all that why not madhuri - Ash and Maduri are only 8 years apart !whats good for goose 1 should be good for goose 2

Nope I am not bring in Ash into this but she is so popular here and easily relatable

36 is youngish 48 is not. Madhuri is an exception and looked great but I'd be having nightmares if all the 48 y/o women in my neighbourhood starts a parade in babydoll costumes.

The 40 plus women in your neighbourhood hopefully has their sanity in place, and no one would be frolicking around in baby doll costumes - becos they would know whats reel and what's real, like most of us do. Still it's your neighbourhood, so you would know better.

And even if they do, it's their life and their wishes. We could always choose to wear blinkers.
