Well maybe before they were now they don't see each other as a threat. They are doing really well for themselves.

They are definitely competing against each other but they unite against any threat from the youngsters. They pretty much keep each other relevant.

That is false.. Isn't salman one of the rare actors who is supporting helping and grooming new young actors like every year.. If he cared about all that.. He wouldn't do any of that .. The fact that none of the young guys even came close to the khans.. Shows their failure.. Not any of the khans.. Again with the exception of ranbir who actually spent so much time with all the khans..

Now they are too big to work with each other...can u imagine Salman and Shahrukh or Aamir and Shahrukh in a movie...who will write a role that will do justice to such mega stars...bahut difficult hai...They all have their egos...the director would die pulling his hair...they are good separately...but still they are not rivals...atleast not any more...Rivals are those who can topple each other...or take another's place or grab their movies...The 3 Khans can't and won't do that to each other...itna samajh lo...that these people are beyond rivalry and competition now...they share a 75 years of SOLID career amongst themselves and all of them have always been on the top...they don't need money or fame or a position anymore...they have all that...now they do movies to satisfy themselves and their fans and I don't think they care about rivalry any more...

I was referring more to Ranbir. They're definitely competing against him.
