:p if u go back to era rafi sahab too had the boyish voice and kishore kumar had a heavy voice even though rafi sahab is considered as musical mastero today any singer who would want to be great have to listen and learn from the great rafi :) ;p and for arijit to be considered better den sonu not only he require sustainibility but had to have a courage to sing in as many generes i.e qawali , ghazals, semi classical and that too on live stage :)

He can be 'versatile' and all that shit but he's not nearly as good as some of the other singers. 🥱 I'll take Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu and even Anu Malik over Sonu Nigham. He's very over-rated!!

FYI - not everyone puts Nigham on a pedestal and does his puja.

😛Come on that pretty average singer ( in ur views) is technically better den Udit Naryan and Kumar Sanu they both were just crooners ( a singer, who sings sentimental songs in a soft, low voice.)...both of them were 1 dimensional and had a melody kinda songs all there carrier ..they never sang songs of different ranges and which have a true classical element i never heard classical stuff from Udit Narayan till date ...but i love udit naryan because of his happy and smiley voice by d way ...:P but as a singer they both had limitations ...in Sonu case he is a one singer of multi dimensional qualities ... you are just getting biased and nothing else ...

give me a break as well :p not just fans but legendary singers like Lata mangeshkar, mana dey or to say SPB or abida parveen to quote some " No singer born in india or pak who can surpass the talent of Sonu Nigam" says Pakistani sufi singer Abida Parveen ... Music houses like T series have become Don these days they are on fight with singers who are demanding royalties and contract verfication thats why people are heareing less of sonu these days as many of his songs got dub this year and will be getting dubbed unless or untill he sign the contract which have illegal clause in it :D the fight with music companies are now for a long run God knows what will be the conclusion and when it will be :)
