Arijit Singh Vs Sonu Nigam

I am making this poll because many of youngsters are constantly comparing arijit with legend singer Sonu Nigam :P so i thought of bringing it to this forum ...

Arijit for me CURRENTLY. Sonu I used to like his songs. But never was a fan. Nor am I fan of Arijit. But I've liked most songs of Arijit. From Phir Mohabbat Karne Chala to Muskurane.

Arijit Singh. Sonu is overrated imho. Never really liked him

This is too early to make this poll. Maybe 10 yrs later.

Thank God SONU is winning! Arijit if good but Sonu is the best!

Before comparing them just have a look to the live concerts of both of dem Sonu is the only singer in india who sings live even greater den wht he do in studio . Arijit live arent impresive and this new generation have advantage of softwares technology as arijit himself admited by saying now a days we have so much softewares for voice modulations .. none of the bollywood singer can be in the same league of Sonu Nigam ... Arijit is a baby infront of him

Sonu Nigam is one of the best singers that the industry has ever had. Arijit has a good voice but he is not an extraordinary singer.

Love Arijit's voice. Phir le Aaya is magic. Sounds like an a$$hole in real life though. Hated his comments on Sunny.

If Sonu Nigam can be compared Mohammed Rafi & Kishore Kumar (who are Gazillion times better than Sonu) then I don't see what's wrong with comparing Arijit with Sonu

Some people are thrashing today's music as if every song today are trash & every single song that came out in yesteryears were a classic piece.

Muhammad Rafi sahab is the father of every singer its from whom every one have learned expressions but sorry to say Kishore kumar was just an ordinary playback singer with a great voice and Sonu is way better then him when it come to technical singing kisore kumar had no Classical base and he hasnt sung classical numbers like rafi sahab did in his carrier songs of Baju Bawra , Man tarpat har darshan ko aaj , madu ban main radeka nachi thi kind of .. Sonu also did some extra ordinary classical work listen to his songs of private album "Classicaly Mild" espcially soona soona...or bawri piya ki kind of all dat harqtein and murkiyaan which shows the capacity of a singer that how much control they have even Mana dey sahab said to Sonu dat " Sonu you are born in wrong era you should have been born in my era so dat i could have given you a healthy compitition keep in mind Mana dey himself was great in Classical base songs unlike Kishore kuma
