Ranbir Kapoor's search for his missing father now takes him to a Mumbai studio.

After travelling to Cape Town in South Africa and the picturesque Pai in Thailand, Anurag Basu's detective caper, Jagga Jasoos, has finally landed in Mumbai's Filmistan Studio where the film's shooting is underway.

Mirror 'framed' Ranbir Kapoor as he was stepping into his van for a costume change. A source close to the unit revealed, "Ranbir's look in the film goes through a drastic makeover as he ages from an 18 year old to a man in his mid-thirties."

The film's story revolves around a gifted boy who goes country hopping in the search of his missing father. "The film has a lot of children who play Jagga's informants and help him with clues. After the Mumbai schedule, a major chunk of the film will be complete." the source added.

Jagga Jasoos, which will also mark the debut of Ranbir as a producer, is being planned as a musical with Pritam composing 20-odd songs. In an interview to Mirror (October 6), he had said, "They are small ditties which carry forward a conversation."

The film also boasts of some quirky action-based slapstick comedy. "Both Ranbir and Katrina have trained in the Israeli martial art of Krav Maga for the same," the source concluded.

It wasn't an easy journey but the actress worked hard. Besides sweating out religiously, she has been on a macro-biotic diet too, consisting of vegetables and grains minus any animal product. The special dabba reaches her every two hours.

Katrina Kaif's current focus is on 'Jagga Jasoos' which stars her alleged beau Ranbir Kapoor. The actress was worried about her fluctuating weight, but has now tamed her demons and is flashing her new acquired bod.

Jagga Jasoos Postponed Again?

It seems like Anurag Basu and Ranbir Kapoor are taking every precaution to make sure that nothing goes wrong with their next film, Jagga Jasoos. Shooting of the film started last year end and is still underway, and the film was initially to release in May 2015 but was then postponed to August 28.

But a source close to the director mentioned, "There is a lot of VFX work, which needs to be done and the shoot will finish in March. Then Anurag will start working on the music with composer Pritam. So now the makers have decided to release the film in the first week of October as the timing is good and October 2 is a long weekend."

PS: Recently, Akshay Kumar's Singh Is Bling was announced to be released during the first week of October but it seems the film won't make it in time. Hence, the makers of Jagga Jasoos grabbed this release window.
