Perhaps because Hindi is a language she had learned later. She did just fine in Tamil and Telugu movies.

Deepika is so beautiful but her dialogue delivery is awful, sometimes she sounds like a robot... not pleasant at all.

You should have made a topic on which actors have good dialogue delivery! That would have been easier to list!

Majority of actors have problems with diction, voice modulation and dialogue delivery in general.

Katrina, Deepika, Sonam, Shraddha - all need improvement. Salman and Akshay could do with a little more improvement. Abhishek, Arjun Kapoor, Tushar, Imran Khan...no good.

Raveena, Shilpa, Neelam, Zeenat, Hema Malini, Karishma in her early days...all low scoring in dialogue delivery.

Agree all Deols are just "okay" in dialogue delivery. Earlier SRK and Aamir also used to speak too fast.

I started liking Kajol's dialogue delivery only later. In beginning Rani was also sub par, not just due to her voice.

I think Sushmita's dialogue delivery was also laboured. I am not fond of Hrithik's dialogue delivery either, especially in his early days. He sounded best only in Jodha Akbar IMO.

Sanjay Dutt's pronounciation is not always spot on...he always seems stuck in "bhai" mode as he speaks!

Most actors post early 80s seemed to almost neglect the speech part.

The worst male is definitely Sunil Shetty who has not improved even one bit in all these years!

Mahima Chaudhary laboured her way through dialogues. Kangana, however talented, is useless in dialogue delivery...I can't make out what she says even in her interviews. Not only English, her Hindi too is not upto the mark.

Vidya Balan, Ajay Devgan use their voice really well. Amitabh Bachchan is of course the baap in terms of diction, dialogue delivery!
