As if anybody cares about acting anyways, and as if all other actors are doing oscar winning performances.


Is this over-enthusiastic anti-PR? or is it those who are blinded by reading too many film magazines and gossip columns, and now believe IK is a bad actor. How were JTYJN, Delhi Belly, Mere brother were hits then ? Even if he is not great actor, why was he signed for roles and then thrown out. Do you think something fishy?

Bad phase comes in every actors life. And what is really that matters? He is in news because people still consider him as a hero. How many poeple know that GTPM or others were flop, people dont use net the massses.

His next film will release next year, so why all the disheartenings?

I agree Imran is not made for BW as he is a tremendously good person by heart. There is not even one scandal that he has had in his career, nor any linkups or any bad mouth to anyone. Only once he was disappointed with Ekta for the promotions but he respected her.

Imran as a person and not an actor is every girls dream and every boys role model.

His best has to be Ekk Main aur ekk Tu ..He was pretty good in that ,But Kareena Overshadowed him ..Why only is Imran is criticized,when bollywood is full of wooden planks ..It is just his lack of sex appeal which makes him less appealing than Other wooden planks .

Anyway, he's not the only actor about whom I feel that way. SidM is gorgeous in still photos. But when he's moving? I only notice that his arms seem too long and his hands seem too big** and look like they're dangling by a thread from his wrist! And don't let me get started on what happens with his hands when he's dancing!

Even my current favorite actor Ranveer has some physical habits he needs to tone down in the future. The difference is that he has already successfully done that in Lootera.

So he is hard working. I wouldn't call Kat talented either, but she is extremely hard working. That alone could take you very far. Arjun Ramphal, I have no clue except he has/ was friends with Hrithik and SRK so that probably helped.

As for Salman, he has a 20+ career with very low points. Did anyone think he can comeback after the boat load of controversies ?. Not me, but he did. The thing is he has solid work in the 80s and 90s. They were not great acting movies, but MPK and HAHK, HDDCS are all classics which people watch over and over again. I grew up with Salman, so I have a very soft spot for him. and can't seem to replace him. If many are like me wanting to see Salman on screen over anyone else that is the reason he is around.

Imran obviously does not have a fanbase like that. PR can write a lot of articles, but no one can make anyone like someone. It just happens. It's like this, I've liked SRK almost my whole life, media can tell me who they think the next SRK is, but I don't care. The first time I saw Ranveer on screen I thought this is the next SRK. Every single person I like has been because of the way they acted. I would like actors to be decent human beings, but TBVH the actors I like are not so great people. But what they have is something that appealed to me, be it talent or something else I have not been able to find in anyone.

The above 2 posts summarize it all. It is very very difficult to go against what we have heard from media sources, news, magazine, twitter, IF etc. Media feeds uf our opinion. It is very difficult to believe that we are influenced by those sources but unknowingly we all are.

For HZAnita comments, I will say this is very normal reaction towards physical features but it can change based on how media describes him also. people thought worse things about Big B when he was a newcomer and not a hero material from any angle but in due time all ws forgotten.

For meribaat comments, I will say it is very very easy to justify someone who has already received stamp of approval from media. And it is very very difficult to jusify someone who is being bashed by media day and night. if John, Salman, ranveer were not hailed by media I doubt you will think the same thing.

Bottom line, Imran is under PR attack, acting, looks, hard work these are all useless stories which media uses to justify whatever their agenda is.

personally, i think there is nobody who matches his style of humor to deliver dialogues with straight face with no expression. It is not easy and needs an intelligent actor to do this and he proved it in delhi belly. Need to pick more such movies.
