The story of the film is very interesting I am really excited for this one. Shekhar Kapoor's track record is excellent and the subject is beyond excellent.

Obviously, since it was Shekhar Kapur and he wanted to make a futuristic movie titled Paani, everyone was looking forward to the film. But after Kapur announced his plan, we heard nothing more about it. The silence was so loud that the trade started wondering if the veteran filmmaker would ever have his dream come true.

Recently, Aditya Chopra decided to team up with Kapur and produce the film under his banner. Big names were discussed and there was talk of Kapur roping in a really big name to play the leading man. Finally, Sushant Singh Rajput was roped in. Now this was announced a few months ago and there was no news on this front after that. And, again, there were whispers that the film was jinxed.

But now we hear that the film is all set to go on the floors in August/September. Turns out casting the film had delayed the project. Since it will be a maha-big-budget movie, Kapur and Chopra decided to rope in a few big names from Hollywood. And Kapur was recently in Los Angeles to finalise the cast of his film. If our sources are to be believed, some really big names in Hollywood have been locked.

Well, the villain in the film is the leading lady's father but we won't disclose his name just yet. All we can say at this point is that he's a very renowned Hollywood actor and also very popular among the classes and masses, even in India. Watch this space!

100 days of prep Sushant Singh Rajput will prepare for more than three months for his next film with John Travolta

He has just wrapped up Dibakar Banerjee's film, but even before Sushant Singh Rajput could get out of his sleuth character, there came the news of Hollywood star John Travolta possibly starring with him in Shekhar Kapur's Paani. Travolta recently confirmed, "I've been approached and I'm considering doing this film."

Sushant, who plays the lead role, has requested the makers, Aditya Chopra and Shekhar to give him 100 days to prepare for this role. "Especially now that Travolta is likely to star in the film along with Sushant, he wants to put his best foot forward. Also, he has been a fan of films like Face/Off (1997), Saturday Night Fever (1977) and Pulp Fiction (1994), so he wants to be fully prepared to work with someone like Travolta," says an insider.

As a result, Sushant wants to focus not just on the emotional graph of his character, but also the physical aspect. "For Dibakar's film, he had lost a lot of weight, but for Shekhar's next, he needs to have a chiselled physique. All of it will take time since he has just finished the shoot of his last film. That's why he has asked for 100 days from Aditya sir and Shekhar. And they have agreed, too, because they are aware that it's going to be a challenging part for Sushant," adds the insider. Despite repeated attempts, Sushant couldn't be reached for a comment.
