With the entire industry finally having given Salman Khan's marriage a back seat and having taken a serious interest in Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif's marriage, news is that finally there has been progress!
As per a source close to the couple, good friend Ayan Mukherjee has been the reason for Ranbir and Katrina's patch up. They've broken up for the nth time, but Ayan has been counseling the two and helping them through the relationship. The director is really keen on seeing Ranbir settling down and thinks that Katrina is the right girl for him.

At the recent Sri Lankan vacation that the couple had, it is believed that Ranbir finally popped the question to the actress.
However with no confirmation whether the news is true or not is too early to say.
