SRK says NO to KWK Finale

Shah Rukh Khan has rejected the opportunity to appear in the final episode of TV show Koffee With Karan' despite much anticipation.
This will be the first time that Khan has not appeared on the popular celebrity chat show since its inception. Sources close to the show said that Khan was unable to work out timing issues to be a part of the current series.
"Both Shah Rukh and Karan couldn't take out time to shoot the episode. There's no animosity," a source told Hindustan Times. Johar denied any animosity between the two professionals blaming just lack of time. "You can never take away the fact that Shah Rukh and I share a 20-year-long professional and personal history...it's sad that I have to explain my immense closeness to him on a daily basis," he had said.
In previous seasons, Khan has appeared with Kajol and Rani Mukerji and solo in the previous series.
The current series will conclude with Alia Bhatt and Parineeti Chopra take the sofa together.
