by Box Office India (March 29, 2014)

The first shooting schedule of Yash Raj Films' FAN will go on the floors in July. Produced by Aditya Chopra and directed by Maneesh Sharma, the film features Shah Rukh Khan in the lead.

Guess SRK's gonna take a month or two off then. Good. He kept saying how he didnt get a break after Chennai. It's good for him to relax before getting into another one.

If i am not mistaken he said that he will take 2 months break before starting FAN.

HNY shooting is almost over.

Vaani Kapoor to be SRK's heroine in Fan ?

Mumbai: If latest reports are to be believed, 'Shuddh Desi Romance' actress Vaani Kapoor will feature opposite Megastar Shah Rukh Khan in Manish Sharma's upcoming film 'Fan', which goes on the floors later this year.

According to grapevine, the sexy diva, who garnered appreciation for her bold performance in Shuddh Desi Romance', is in talks with the makers of the film.

"Parineeti Chopra and Anushka Sharma's names did the rounds but it appears that Vaani has landed the role," says a source.

After 'Shuddh Desi Romance', Vaani was applauded for her performance in the film and she even bagged Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Vaani next featured in Aaha Kalyanam', the Tamil remake of 'Band Baaja Baaraat' (2010), which was a big hit in the South.

Vaani, however, remained unavailable for comment.

No doubt she is hot but i don't think she is an actress material.. In SDR i found her really awkward and she also has lack of screen presence.

She was the best thing in SDR IMO 😃 won most of the awards for her role,but she is to tall yaar 😆

she will be towering over SRK 😛
