Since the prior topic *Does This Generation of Actors Work Harder Than The Last?!!!* did not find any takers, changing up the topic. Kajol has come a long way in her 20+ year career. She commands films and can dictate her comeback anyway she wants. Over her long career, what do you think her best performance has been? Please share your thoughts. 😊

To be quite honest, I feel that after the post 2000s she became rather overrated as an actress. She's never given me that 'wow' factor. I enjoyed some of her 90s roles, but she always stood out as an average actress. I preferred the likes of Madhuri, Juhi, Karisma. I won't take away the fact she's done some really nice roles, but I never found her roles challenging or I never found her taking upon a challenging role. And during the recent years her annoyance level has just really gotten to me.

She had the same kind of roles in most of her other movies (the ones that I've seen at least) like KKHH, DDLJ, KKKG etc.

gupt, dushman, kkhh.

there was one movie of hers..udhar ki zindagi. i loved her in that movie.

Gupt and dushman (except for the crying scenes which she is really terrible at performing).

I even liked her role in Karan Arjun.

I found her really good in films like Dil Kya Kare, U Me Aur Hum, etc. And she did do Gupt and Dushman. She did kind of experiment. 😃 Even a ordinary fare like Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain was a hit despite Anil Kapoor being the lead (his popularity was fading in the late 90's and was primarily depending on his leading ladies to do the work). Kajol's comeback always had hype and she won the best actress 3 times in a row (KKKG, Fanaa, and My Name is Khan) at Filmfare. That says a lot! Hopefully she can excel with her hubby's banner. 😉

Karan Arjun wasn't really about the heroines. I loved Mamta back in the day and don't remember Kajol much in that movie, she was there to dance and look good with SRK. 😆
